Introduction

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (16) You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? (17) Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. (19) Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (20) Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

THREE MAJOR ACCUSATIONS OF SATAN AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE

THREE MAJOR ACCUSATIONS OF SATAN AGAINST GOD'S PEOPLE
(Job 2:4-7)

   I – PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE HE CAN GET ANYTHING FROM GOD
II – PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE OF THE BLESSINGS
III – PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE OF GOOD HEALTH

 I – PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE HE CAN GET ANYTHING FROM GOD
(Job 1:9)
Introduction and Description of Job's Life
A good man called Job
A man called Job lived in a country called Uz. This man was good and honest. Job respected God. And Job refused to do evil deeds.
Job had:
7 sons and 3 daughters;
7000 sheep;
3000 camels;
500 pairs of oxen; (Oxen look like cows. But oxen pull the plough.)
500 donkeys (small horses);
 and many servants.
Job was the greatest man in the east.
v4 Job’s sons used to hold birthday parties in their houses. They would eat and drink together, with their three sisters. v5 Afterwards, Job prayed for them. At dawn, he took one animal for each child. He killed the animals. Then, he burned the animals as a gift to God. Job did this because he was worried about his children. He said, ‘Perhaps my children did something evil. Perhaps they insulted God.’ So, Job did these things often.

"Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land."
(Job 1:10 New International Version)
Verses 9–10
Satan is the accuser. Firstly, he accused God. Satan said that God was not fair. God was protecting Job so Satan could not attack Job! Satan was wrong to argue that God is not fair. God is always fair.
But Satan was right that God protects his people. God rescues us when we have troubles (Psalm 40:1–3). God saves us from our enemies (Psalm 59). God helps us when we pray (Psalm 61). God is like a castle where we are safe (Psalm 61:1–2). We can always trust God (Psalm 71).

The first accusation of Satan against God's people - Satan told god that (God's people are worshiping him because his people can get all things from him.) Satan is trying to shake and steal the faithfulness of God's people through accusations.
The best example of this is the life of Job in which Satan is trying steal Job's faithfulness to God by attacking Job's life.Satan removed all of Job's wealth and even kill all of his children but then Satan was not successful because it makes Job to go near and call God instead of what happened to his life. It is happening to all of our lives that Satan is always at our side who tries to steal our faith to god by accusing us in many ways. We need to widen our faith to God for us to survive the challenges that we encounter and to help us fight against Satan's accusation.

II. PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE OF THE BLESSINGS
(Job 1:10)

The second accusation of Satan to God's people - Satan said to God that people are worshiping him because of the blessings that God's people received and if God will stop giving blessings to his people, people will surely not worship him.

We, the people of God needs to be strong and we should be careful about this accusation of Satan to us let us hold on with our faith to God so that Satan cannot remove and steal it from our lives. We should always worship God though trials come into our life, the more trials come to our life the more we go neat to God.

Let us be careful to hold our faith to God because Satan does have a lot of ways to shake our faith to God, even our relatives, our close friends, neighbors and people around us they are one of Satan's tools to shaken our lives and our faith to God. Just like what other people are accusing us "I remember one time that some people are saying that Born again christian's are worshiping God because they received blessings each of them receives 1 sack of rice every month that is why they keep on worshiping and going to church every Sunday." This is only one of the ways where Satan works to make our life down and turns back against God. So let us be careful because Satan is always there to pull us down, like a predator waiting to attack to a prey.

III. PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE OF GOOD HEALTH
(Job 2:4)

Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason."
(Job 2:3)
"Skin for skin!" Satan replied. "A man will give all he has for his own life.
(Job 2:4)
Like Job, we face times when Satan seeks to destroy our community with God -- the loss of a job, death of a loved one, a fearful medical diagnosis, rejection by a grown child. Job understands that his faith is more than philosophy. It’s much greater than prosperity, power and good health. All of us long for a life story of real pursuit, enduring hope, heroic love and deep community. Only a vital relationship with Jesus can fill that void.

APPLICATION

The time comes when we need to move on from suffering and mourning in order to embrace healing. Rather than wallow in our grief, we can emerge victorious if we seek God and study scripture to determine the reasons for suffering. Eight biblical reasons for trials cause us to ask questions like: Am I suffering for following Jesus, or doing good? Is this punishment for sin or protection from future sin? Is God increasing my faith, making me into His image, or magnifying His glory? Ultimately, we can suffer and survive -- even thrive.

Let us focus to God and we need to widen our faith and hope to God for us not to be shaken and  lose against the enemy. Call God all the time seek him and surely he will help us to be strong and can survive all the problems and sufferings that we are facing.

God bless everyone. God is good all the time
